Car Parking in Kingsley Green

There is plenty of car parking space here - residents need to use and share it responsibly.

Add up the total number of spaces in ALL the car parks and you will find that we have more than enough spaces to accommodate all owners and all visitor’s cars likely at any one time.

Most residents are normal, intelligent civilized people who have better things to think about and care little about car parking – even if their allocated space is used by a visitor they don’t fuss they simply park in a visitor space.

THE PROBLEM
Unfortunately there is a small hardcore group, all living on one block,
who have never parked in their own allocated spaces but fanatically claim exclusive ownership of visitor spaces and create endless arguments and noise pollution which is becoming tiresome
[and frightening for innocent bystanders].

INSANITY OR STUPIDITY?
The visitor spaces about which the fanatics assault, threaten an scream at others are situated in a car park with eighteen spaces - only seven of which are allocated to residences.
Even though it usually contains several “overflow” vehicles from other car parks it has never been full in the last seventeen years.

JEALOUSY or ENVY?
In their pathetic attempts to justify their thuggery the fanatics frequently cry;
“yeuuuse’ve got more cars than me”
Normal civilised residents will consider this statement ridiculous when it is made in a car park with up to ten vacant spaces.
Especially when the fanatic’s own allocated spaces are permanently vacant - or located a different car park.

THIS INSANITY MUST STOP – VISITOR SPACES SHOULD BE MARKED.
It won’t change where the fanatics park their vehicles (nobody else cares except when they are being threatened) but when it is blatantly obvious that the fanatics are demanding exclusive ownership of visitor spaces and ORDERING other residents to move from visitor spaces to accommodate their illegal demands whilst their own allocated spaces are permanently vacant - OR IN A DIFFERENT CAR PARK one can only hope that they might become less inclined to threaten, insult and abuse other residents and their families.

A VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION
Except to take action in the Civil Courts to enforce covenants in leases the constitution of the KGMC gives directors no power whatsoever to make or enforce rules.

BUT DIRECTORS COULD ARRANGE FOR VISITOR SPACES TO BE MARKED - So why don’t they?
Could it be because
some directors and their cronies have been the most frequent - and the most violent - offenders?
